Martin earned his Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing from California State University, Long Beach and his Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles’ LGBT Affirmative Therapy Specialization.  Martin also received training from Yale School of Public Health in LGBTQ Affirmative CBT.  He approaches therapy from a very curious and objective position and helps his clients dig through the past to uncover the roots of what may be ailing them in their present.  He has training in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, toxic shame, dysphoria, low self-esteem and ego integrity, and relational issues.  Martin favors narrative therapy and solution-focused techniques to help empower clients from the LGBTQ+ community.  He offers a safe, person-centered and empathic environment free from judgment to this community as well as adult individuals, adolescents, and the Hispanic/Latino/Spanish-speaking and immigrant communities.
