Martin also received training from Yale School of Public Health in LGBTQ Affirmative CBT. He approaches therapy from a very curious and objective position and helps his clients dig through the past to uncover the roots of what may be ailing them in their present. He has training in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, toxic shame, dysphoria, low self-esteem and ego integrity, and relational issues. Martin favors narrative therapy and solution-focused techniques to help empower clients from the LGBTQ+ community.
